The bill on advertising on Kazakhstan TV channels was considered in the Senate
This week, at the session of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship of the Senate of Kazakhstan, the draft law “On introducing changes and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on advertising” was considered, reports BNews.kz with reference to the Press Service of the Upper Chamber of the Kazakhstan Republic Parliament.
In particular, the draft law establishes a time limit for advertising in the total amount of broadcasting channels, the total duration of advertising in the period from 18.00 to 23.00 should be no more than twenty percent.
The document as a whole assumes amendments and additions to a number of legislative acts, determines the authorized body in the field of advertising and regulating state bodies. The bill also provides for the introduction of a notification procedure for placing outdoor advertising in a number of open spaces.
After discussion in the profile committee, the bill was submitted to the senators for approval.
