The versatile SRG-360SHE is a high-performance Full HD remote network camera that’s ideal for use in lecture theatres, auditoria and Houses of Worship, as well as corporate, governmental and telemedicine applications. Its excellent image quality also makes it suitable for broadcast applications, from news and live sports production to reality TV shows.
Suitable for table top or ceiling mounting, the attractively styled camera body features a large tally lamp that gives presenters a clear visual indication when they’re on air. Reducing cabling requirements for simpler installation, PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) carries IP video and power over a single connection cable.
The SRG-360SHE streams smooth, detail-packed Full HD (1080/60p) video over an IP network connection, with additional outputs providing simultaneous feeds over 3G-SDI and HDMI at the same time. This triple streaming capability makes the camera ideal for corporate presentations, webcasts and other events where content can be displayed on a connected monitor, streamed live to the web and simultaneously recorded for editing and archive.
An improved PTZ mechanism ensures smooth, steady camera movements for polished, professional-looking coverage of any scene. Separate pan, tilt and zoom movements can be synchronised to start and stop together, and a ‘trace’ of pre-set camera positions can be stored for recall at any time.
The sensitive Exmor™ CMOS image sensor assures excellent low-light sensitivity, with View-DR and XDNR enhancing image quality in harshly backlit or poorly-illuminated rooms. The camera’s wide field of view makes it easier to cover everyone in the room. Powerful 30x optical zoom is boosted further by digital zoom for high-quality close-ups of distant subjects. Live images can be viewed via a web browser on a PC that can also recall up to 256 stored camera viewing position set-ups.
Stereo audio from an attached microphone can be fine-tuned using the on-board equaliser and auto level control for extra clarity and intelligibility. There’s also an auto lip-sync feature to eliminate distracting mismatches between sound and picture. The SRG-360SHE can be controlled remotely using VISCA command protocols over IP or RS-422. The camera’s embedded web browser also allows simple control and image preview from any networked PC.
Triple streaming outputs
The SRG-360SHE can simultaneously output 1080/60p baseband video through 3G-SDI, HDMI and as a H.264 compressed video/audio stream via IP. This triple streaming capability makes the camera ideal for webcasting and simultaneous recording of conferences, lectures, seminars and other live events.
Full HD image quality with 60fps frame rate
See every presenter or conference participant more clearly. The 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS image sensor captures smooth, crisply detailed, Full HD (1920 x 1080 60p) images with extremely low noise – even in low light conditions where other cameras struggle. High frame rate (60fps) operation ensures smoother, more fluid reproduction of moving subjects.
Clearer pictures in any lighting conditions
Unique to Sony, View-DR technology expands dynamic range for clear images under harsh backlighting with extremes of light and dark in the same scene. XDNR technology reduces image noise for crisp reproduction of still and moving objects in poorly-illuminated rooms.
Powerful 30x optical zoom
The 30x optical zoom range is complemented by 12x digital zoom for frame-filling close-ups with every detail seen clearly. Responsive autofocus ensures that images stay clear and sharp, even at high zoom settings.
Enhanced PTZ operation
The powerful direct drive motor assures quiet, rapid movement to the target position over a wide pan/tilt angle range. PTZ synchronisation ensures smoothly co-ordinated camera movements, while Pan/Tilt speed can be set to ‘Slow’ for smooth, professional looking transitions. A sequence of camera positions can be stored to memory and recalled as a preset ‘trace’.
Wide 65-degree viewing angle
See every meeting participant in a boardroom with a wide 65-degree horizontal viewing angle.
Suitable for desktop or ceiling mounting
Image flip gives extra operating flexibility, allowing the camera to be sited on a boardroom table-top or ceiling mounted while maintaining proper image orientation.
Large tally light
The large red tally light immediately above the lens gives presenters clear visual confirmation when the camera is active.
Enhanced audio quality with equaliser and auto lip-sync function*
Audio from a connected stereo microphone (optional) or line inputs can be enhanced using the on-board equaliser and auto level control for greater intelligibility. Unwanted signal delays between audio and video are compensated by the auto lip-sync function.

Versatile connectivity options
Support for RS-422 protocol allows easy connection with a wide range of peripheral products. The camera can also be controlled via VISCA protocols over a standard IP network.
