The Dedolight DedoPAR 400/575W HMI Light Head is a lamp base that gives you the option of using it as a PAR light which takes 3 optional lenses or as a soft light which can be used in bare bulb mode or with Dedoflex and Chimera softboxes.

This base itself weighs a mere 2.2 lb and even with the optional PAR weighs in at only 4.2 lb, making it eminently portable. And speaking of portability, you can use it virtually anywhere there’s electricity thanks to the multi-voltage (90 – 260V AC) DEB400D ballast which also powers the DLH400 series soft lights. The DedoPAR has both a 5/8″ receiver for standard “baby” accessories and a 1 1/8″ stud for “junior” accessories. Convenience features include an On/Off button on the head while safety is ensured by an auto cut-off circuit that shuts the head down when its protective glass is damaged or missing.
