Blackimagic Design has unveiled Blackmagic Camera for Android. Users of Samsung and Google phones, etc. can now finally have access to the same app as Apple users have enjoyed for quite some time.

Blackmagic Camera for Android is supported on phones running Android 13 or later:

• Samsung Galaxy S23, S23FE, S23+, S23 Ultra
• Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra
• Google Pixel 7, 7a, 7 Pro, 8, 8 Pro

Blackmagic Camera unlocks the power of your phone by adding Blackmagic’s digital film camera controls and image processing. According to Blackmagic Design, you can create the same cinematic ‘look’ as Hollywood feature films as well as getting the same intuitive and user friendly interface as Blackmagic Design’s cameras.

You can adjust settings such as frame rate, shutter angle, white balance and ISO, as well as record directly to Blackmagic Cloud in industry standard files up to 8K. Recording to Blackmagic Cloud Storage also lets you collaborate on DaVinci Resolve projects with editors anywhere in the world, all at the same time.
