The joint solution will feature its first public demonstration in Latin America at the CIS Group booth during SET Expo 2026, held August 17–20 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo.

The collaboration began to take shape at the NAB Show in Las Vegas through discussions between CIS Group, DTV Innovations, and TVU Networks. The initiative directly responds to an industry-wide demand for modernized, highly efficient IP distribution architectures.

The move already has concrete precedents outside Brazil. In March 2026, TVU Networks announced a partnership with Reuters to execute a phased migration from satellite to a cloud-native, IP-based live news distribution model powered by TVU MediaHub and TVU NOC. According to Reuters, the transition addresses four longstanding satellite limitations: weather-induced signal degradation, lack of geographically distributed redundancy, limited operational flexibility when scaling capacity on demand, and higher total cost of ownership (TCO). The TVU and DTV Innovations integration extends this same cloud-first methodology to the receiver edge, traditionally the segment most dependent on fixed hardware and satellite infrastructure.

The joint architecture seamlessly bridges key points across the signal distribution workflow:

• Edge Reception & Conversion: DTV Innovations provides professional receiver hardware deployed at affiliate stations, regional broadcasters, or remote sites to capture and decode incoming signals.
• Native Ecosystem Integration: A dedicated Software Development Kit (SDK) supporting TVU’s proprietary ISX protocol is embedded directly into DTV Innovations decoders, allowing receiver hardware to interface natively with the TVU ecosystem.
• Cloud-Based Routing & Multi-Point Delivery: Signals are fed into TVU MediaHub, TVU’s cloud routing platform, enabling flexible point-to-multipoint distribution from a single source to multiple destinations simultaneously across any input/output format.

Live Demonstration at SET Expo 2026

Visitors to the CIS Group booth will experience a live end-to-end workflow demonstration: signals ingested at an edge endpoint via DTV Innovations hardware will be converted using TVU’s ISX protocol and routed via TVU MediaHub to multiple destinations in real time, demonstrating the performance, efficiency, and cost savings of the combined architecture.
